HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — One person is dead after a hit-and-run on Memorial Parkway. Huntsville Police Department says the car left after hitting Marquez Williams just north of Mastin Lake Road. HPD confirms that Williams was attempting to cross Memorial Parkway on foot, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit Williams was rushed to Huntsville Hospital where he later died due to injuries.
Investigators are now looking for the person who left the scene. The incident happened around 1:30 a.m.
