DECATUR, Ala. — The city of Decatur Engineering Department and Reed Contracting are expected to begin resurfacing several roadways during the week of March 8.
The city says the following areas will have road work, weather permitting:
- Vestavia Drive SW from Danville Road to Loggers Way on Monday
- Kmart Frontage Road on Monday
- Indian Hills Road from New Pavement to Red Bank Road from Monday to Wednesday
- Memorial Drive NW from north of Moulton Street to Sixth Street from Tuesday to Thursday
- 14th Street from Carridale Street to Central Parkway from Thursday to Friday
- Eighth Street SE from 14th Avenue to 19th Avenue from Friday to Saturday
Additionally, the city's street department will close one northbound lane of Spring Avenue from Beltline Road to Springview Street Southwest from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday for repairs.
