Former Sylvania School teacher arrested for charges relating to inappropriate behavior with students

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — UPDATE: Dustin Wade Dalton, 28, of Rainsville has been indicted on 24 charges related to inappropriate relations with a student, the county clerk confirmed to WZDX on Wednesday.

Dalton is being held at the DeKalb County Jail on a bond totaling $393,875.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office has arrested a former Sylvania School teacher on charges relating to inappropriate behavior with students.

Dustin Wade Dalton, 28, of Rainsville was charged with enticing a child for immoral purposes and dissemination of obscene material, DCSO said.

Dalton is currently being held at the DeKalb County Jail without bond. DCSO said the investigation is still continuing and more charges may be added at a later date.
