Walmart customers can recycle broken holiday lights at select locations

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Need to get rid of those broken holiday lights? Walmart has announced that they will recycle those broken string lights this holiday season.

According to Walmart, people should bring their lights to their designated store and deposit them into collection boxes located inside the store by the “General Merchandise” entrance or by the “Garden Center” entrance. Lights are now being accepted until Jan. 7 at participating Huntsville locations.

Walmart says they will accept all holiday lights including indoor and outdoor strands as well as bistro/patio lights, whether they are working or not.
