MADISON, Ala. — Madison-area shoppers have a dozen new reasons to smile, as the operators of the Clift Farm shopping plaza have announced twelve new stores and restaurants planned to open through the rest of 2023.

As part of the next phase of development, Clift Farm said it will welcome the following:

  • Hand & Stone Massage
  • SuperCuts
  • Verizon
  • Big Daddy's Burger Bar
  • Cava
  • Culver's
  • Five Guys
  • Maple Street Biscuit Company
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes
  • Walk-on's
  • Starbucks
  • Jim N Nick's BBQ

Building on the success from the first phase of the development, Clift Farm is currently home to a Publix grocery store and outlets of Taco Mama, Slim Chickens, Hollywood Feed, HotWorx Fitness, and Valvoline Oil Change, among other brands.

Ardent Preschool & Daycare also maintains a presence on the development.

The Clift Farm Master Plan allots for approximately 400,000 square feet of retail and 350,000 square feet of office space, plus 1,7235 residential units. Single-family homes are available as well as units at the Henry House Apartments. There is also proposed space for a medical complex and further expansion along Balch Rd.

The mixed-use development broke ground back in 2018 and preserves 21 acres of farmland still used by the Clift family. Breland Companies is owner and operator of the development.

Clift Farm and Town Madison are among the growing city's two biggest retail and mixed-use developments. Town Madison recently confirmed construction on the first BJ's Warehouse Club in the state of Alabama, along with a Margaritaville Hotel.

Town Madison is situated about 5.5 miles south from Clift Farm via Balch.
