DECATUR, Alabama — A 20-year-old Falkville man was arrested regarding the alleged rape of a juvenile that took place in Decatur in July 2020, the Decatur Police Department said.
Police say Michael Lee Tyson of Falkville was arrested in Michigan on January 19, 2021, and was extradited back to Decatur on February 2. Tyson has been charged with production of obscene material and second degree rape. Tyson was 19 at the time of the incident, police say.
Following extradition, Tyson was placed in the Morgan County Correctional Facility with a $15,000 bond.
