The Alabama A&M women's basketball team defeated Jackson State 75-71 on Saturday afternoon in their last home regular season game of the year.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 16-13 overall and 12-6 in the SWAC, which closed out their most successful regular season since winning 17 regular season and 12 conference games during the 2011-12 season.
Guard DeShawna Harper led A&M with 23 points and three assists, while Dariauna Lewis finished with 18 points and six rebounds and lone senior Jameica Cobb added 10 points and five rebounds in the win.
