Local law firm offering free wills & services for local veterans

Wills for Warriors Program is for Veterans, Active Service, First Responders and Healthcare Workers.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala — The law firm of McCutcheon & Hamner has continued their semi-annual Wills for Warriors program this November to offer free simple wills, durable powers of attorney, and living wills to all veterans, active service members, first responders and local healthcare workers.

In its fifth year, this program kicks off on Friday, November 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day and will continue through the Thanksgiving weekend.

Partner Tom McCutcheon explains, “McCutcheon & Hamner is honored to have the opportunity to thank our local heroes through our Wills for Warriors program. Joel and I are proud to create a tradition of serving those who have served so much. This program also gives us the chance to meet so many hardworking, dedicated folks throughout our community.”

In addition to local media, the law firm is using digital and social media to deliver their offer and message of appreciation throughout the Shoals area.

Fellow partner Joel Hamner says, “Social media gives Tom and myself a direct one-to-one way to connect with the people most affected. We are using these media platforms to be sure that every local warrior understands that we are personally here to help them.”

Hamner continues, “Our community is made better by the tireless commitment our local healthcareworkers, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs, along with members of our armed services, have displayed each and every day, answering the call to protect and serve. We admire their dedication to do so without thought for their own safety. It is indeed an honor to stop and salute these local heroes for their selfless bravery.”
