TOWN CREEK, Ala. — Little Landen Godsey passed his swallow test this week and got to eat his first meal since the tornado that killed both of his parents this past December.

His first meal? McDonald’s fries with honey mustard, Walmart orange chicken, Cardinal cookies, cream milkshake and a mini burger.

Landen has been a fighter, once being listed in critical condition. He celebrated his 9th birthday with the help of his community just a few weeks ago.
