Up first: Use a price tracker. Some popular ones are websites called CamelCamelCamel, Honey, and SlickDeals. They’ll track the price of an item online and send you alerts when it’s low.

Black Friday apps can also be really helpful to save you some hassle. Some popular ones to check out are: ShopSavvy, Shopular, Flipp, and Price Cruncher. There’s also a ton of specifically Black Friday apps and of course store-specific ones.

Deals are usually around 40 percent cheaper which can save you a lot depending on how much you’re shelling out. Last year the biggest deals were reportedly on TV’s and computers. Walmart and Best Buy are said to offer some of the best Black Friday deals. The best deals on toys were the Sunday before Cyber Monday.

But is fighting crowds even worth it for what you want to buy? If you want the newest, shiny, and expensive item shop Black Friday. Shop Cyber Monday for older generations of smaller gadgets.

Still thinking, ‘wow there are too many options out there?’ Price tracking sites and apps are said to be the most useful tools for the shopping craze.
