Morgan County Schools planning for several scenarios for new school year

No final decisions have been made, but virtual learning will be offered.

DECATUR, Ala. — Morgan County Schools is working on plans for the new school year. The biggest question? How will school in the fall look.

In today's announcement, the district it's planning for several scenarios, but won’t be making a decision until wcloser to August. They want to avoid making plans  may need to be heavily altered in the coming weeks. 

One thing is certain. Their virtual school program, which began for grades 9-12 and was recently expanded to grades 6-12, will be expanded to grades K-12.

Current virtual school options include full-time virtual school, part-time virtual school, and blended classrooms. The district plans to start on regularly scheduled dates and offer a variety of options like other districts in the area.
