Huntsville Hospital COVID vaccination clinic moving

The community vaccine clinic is ending its clinic at John Hunt Park and moving to the Fever & Flu Clinic.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Hospital's COVID-19 vaccine clinic, currently located at John Hunt Park, is moving. That location will close on July 9.

The HHS COVID-19 clinic is not going far, though. It will be open at the HHS Fever & Flu Clinic starting on June 29. All people 12 years of age and older are eligible to be vaccinated.

To reduce confusion over where people should go for their first and second shots, HHS offers the following explanation:

Beginning on Tuesday, June 29 all persons receiving their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 will be served at the Fever & Flu Clinic. Unless otherwise told, persons who are currently awaiting their second dose of the vaccine will continue to be served at John Hunt Park until that location officially closes on July 9.

Appointments can be scheduled at t https://www.huntsvillehospital.org/covid-19-vaccination.

According to Huntsville Hospital, the Community Vaccination Clinic has distributed more than 111,000 since January 2021.
