Hollywood Police ask for public's help to find church vandalism suspects

The Apostles and Prophets Church was vandalized with racist graffiti and damage to the building.

HOLLYWOOD, Ala. — The Hollywood Police posted a video on their Facebook page asking the public to help them find the people responsible for an act of church vandalism.

In the video, Chief Jason Hepler says that the Apostles and Prophets Church on County Road 412 contacted them after they found the back door of the church kicked open.

Police found that the church had been burglarized and vandalized with racist and graphic images, as well as damage to musical instruments and the building itself.

They say that the offenders could possibly have been in an older model dark colored import car with a loud exhaust and that the vandalism possibly happened Tuesday evening around 1:30 am.

If you have any information, please contact Hollywood Police at 256-259-1295.
