Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic | Happenings in North Alabama the weekend of May 24-27

From baseball games to a free guided hike. There's plenty to enjoy this weekend.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend has some events to keep in mind! 

Alabama Jubilee Hot-Air Balloon Classic - Hot air balloons will fly in the sky on Saturday and Sunday, with flights scheduled from 6 - 8 a.m., and again from 5 - 8 p.m. In Decatur, live shows, food, and exciting entertainment will be available throughout the day. Don't miss the chance to meet the FOX54 weather team!

Orion Skate Jam - Happening on on Saturday, May 25. Families and kids of all ages can join in on the fun from 5 - 8 p.m., with adult-only (18 and up) skating from 8 - 11 p.m.

Coal Fest - Happening this Friday and Saturday! People can enjoy live music, games, a look into the coal mining days, activities for children, arts and crafts and more. 

Free Community Baby Shower - CNI Solutions presents a Free Community Baby Shower on May 26, at the Bob Harrison Wellness and Advocacy Center, offering essential baby items and resources to new and expecting families. Registration is required beforehand. 

Guided Hike at Harvest Square Nature Preserve - Happening on Saturday from 9 - 10 a.m. Get a free guided hiking tour! Registration is required. 

Betsy and Peter Lowe Community Free Day at Huntsville Museum of Art - The museum will welcome guests and families during the Memorial Day weekend. There will be free admission on Sunday from 12 - 5 p.m.

Rocket City Trash Panda Games - The Rocket City Trash Pandas take on the Montgomery Biscuits at home all weekend long. Get tickets here.

Unclaimed Baggage Big Tent Event - Big Tent Event happening on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. 

27th Annual Joe Douglas Old School and Blues Festival - Happening this Saturday in Harvest from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. 

Huntsville Concert Band - HCB will provide live music at Huntsville Madison County Veterans Memorial. It all starts at 10:30 a.m. on May 27, commemorating fallen service members.
