MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Governor Kay Ivey awarded $100 million of CARES Act funding to support nursing homes and hospitals.
$50 million will go to the Alabama Nursing Home Association Education Foundation. The other half will go to the Alabama Hospital Association. The
money will go towards PPE, cleaning, and personnel costs brought on by the pandemic.
