CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. — The Cullman County Sheriff's Office shared the latest on Deputy Adam Clark and K-9 Figo, who were critically injured after their car went into a ravine in extremely bad weather.
Deputy Clark has undergone several surgeries and they say his physical condition is good. He is being transferred to Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where he will be for several months.
K-9 Figo's condition is improving as he stays in a private facility.
Sheriff Matt Gentry said that Deputy Clark's family would to convey to everyone how much they appreciate everyone’s prayers, cards, and messages during this difficult time.

Several agencies assisted in Clark's rescue, including local volunteer fire departments, Cullman EMS, Morgan County Sheriff‘s Office, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Huntsville Police Department, Falkville Police Department, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. They responded after the Cullman County Sheriff's Office lost contact with Clark in heavy rain.
He was found unconscious by other CCSO deputies. Clark and Figo were taken to local facilities for emergency treatment.
