NFL Hall of Famer and Alabama native Walter Jones is in town for his 8th Annual Turkey Bowl.
Saturday, Nov. 17 at Bob Jones High School, join Jones for a Flag Football tournament, Turkey Toss, and Punt, Pass, and Kick competition.
There’s also a “Walk with Walter” to encourage everyone to walk 30 minutes a day, 2-3 times a week, and help others by giving.
The day starts with the Walk at 8:00 a.m. with Flag Football games beginning at 9:00 a.m. Spectators are welcome and donations of non-perishable items, especially cereal, canned meat, peanut butter, jelly, mac and cheese, and personal hygiene items for House of the Harvest are appreciated.
Registration for the walks and drawing for gifts from Walter Jones and current NFL players is free.
