Huntsville Utilities is warning its customers about a new scam.
In this one, scammers are telling customers that they can pay on their account using the Cash app.
While the app is legitimate, Huntsville Utilities says that they don’t accept payment through it.
They are working with the app’s developer to shut down the fraudulent activity. For now, if you think you have sent money to a scammer through Cash, contact Cash’s customer support and stop the payment.
