Virtual class aimed towards seniors; you can learn and exercise from home

Two groups come together to host virtual learning and exercise courses aimed towards seniors

ALABAMA, USA — Alabama Extension at Alabama A&M University and Central Alabama's Aging Consortium is hosting a Fall Prevention Exercise Course aimed towards seniors tomorrow morning.

This class will focus on making smart moves related to fall prevention. Attendees will not only learn about fall prevention but also participate in exercises that can increase balance, coordination and endurance.

"We're gonna be moving but we also want to make sure that we're smart about, like what we do and how we move," said Long Term Ombudsman Representative at Central Alabama's Aging Consortium, DeLane Richardson.

This course is free and takes place every Wednesday morning this month from 10 to 11 am - all from the comfort of your home. (April 14, 21 and 28, 2021)
