HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the award-winning Oakwood Aeolians choir has a huge stage on which to perform.
Their performance tonight, May 28, will be as part of the Denny’s Hungry for EducationTM 2020 Virtual Commencement. The live broadcast will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The 2019 Hungry for Education scholarship winners and 2020 graduating seniors will be celebrated. The keynote commencement speaker will be basketball legend, entrepreneur and friend to Oakwood University, Earvin "Magic" Johnson.
Also part of the event will be Sybil Wilkes from the Tom Joyner Morning Show and The Howard University “Showtime” Marching Band.
