HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Alabama A&M University revealed the 2024 football schedule on Tuesday night. The 12-game schedule features a trip to an SEC opponent, three classic games, and a balanced matchup by the eight-game Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) slate.
Alabama A&M, which went 5-6 overall last season and 3-5 in SWAC play, begins the 2024 season during Labor Day weekend as the Bulldogs visit Auburn. This will be the third meeting all-time between AAMU and the Tigers.
One week later, Alabama A&M will have its home opener in the Louis Crews Classic as Kentucky State comes to town. The Bulldogs wrap up the two-game homestand a week later by playing host to Fayetteville State.
The Maroon and White take to the road for their next three games, starting with a trip to Austin Peay and opening conference play by concluding September in Tallahassee, Fla. against the HBCU National Champion, Florida A&M.
Alabama A&M opens October in the Gulf Coast Challenge against Jackson State, before playing host to Bethune-Cookman in the 2024 Homecoming Game on Oct. 12. After an open week, the Bulldogs play their final neutral-site game in the annual Magic City Classic against rival Alabama State.
AAMU closes out the final month at home against Southern, before visiting Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Bulldogs will hold Senior Day on Nov. 16 as Grambling State visits Louis Crews Stadium, and Alabama A&M closes the regular season on the road against Mississippi Valley State.
