Starting Thursday night at 8:00 p.m., Madison Street will be closed between South Side Square and Gates Avenue.
Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will be closing that stretch for water main installation work. The closure will also be in effect during those same times on Monday and Tuesday (July 15-16) of next week.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible and use caution when traveling near it.
