'The Cheesecake Factory', 'Main Event Entertainment' heads to Bridge Street Town Centre

Bridge Street will be the second location for The Cheesecake Factory in the state of Alabama, and Main Event Entertainment will be the first.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Get ready cheesecake lovers, The Cheesecake Factory is headed to the Rocket City!

The restaurant is expected to open by the end of this year at the Bridge Street Town Centre on the South end of the property.

"Main Event Entertainment" will also arrive to Bridge Street by next year. The venue features bowling, laser tag, zipline, and more than one hundred arcade games.

"We're so excited to have the opportunity to bring that into town and give that back to the local community, and we're also just excited to see how many jobs this is going to provide to the local community, as well as the sales tax revenue that's going to give back to the community," says BridgeStreet Town Centre Marketing Manager, Haley Buie.

Main Event at Bridge Street will be the first location in the state of Alabama.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a plethora of information on how to protect yourself and other from the coronavirus.  

The virus can easily spread from person to person, so the CDC recommends you stay at least 6-feet apart from people not in your household. The virus is spread through respiratory droplets that are produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, breaths or talks, according to the CDC. Because of this, the CDC recommends you wear a cloth facemask when around others and in public. 

Additionally, the CDC recommends that you frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. 

Symptoms to look out for include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, a sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea, according to the CDC.
