Tuscumbia police still searching for hit-and-run suspect nearly two weeks on

TUSCUMBIA, Ala. — Police are still searching for tips nearly two weeks after a hit-and-run incident which killed a pedestrian in Tuscumbia. 

Investigators say it happened around 8 p.m. on April 17th near the Microtel Inn & Suites on Highway 72. Very little information is known about the suspect vehicle except that it was a red Ford Mustang, between the model years of 2005 and 2009. Police say the vehicle was witnessed heading westbound on the highway following the incident.
