Boeing donates over ten million dollars for racial equity and social justice

HUNTSVILLE, Ala — In honor of the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington, Boeing is donating $10,600,000 in grant funding to address racial equity and social justice in the United States.

We stand with all those who are working to create a more inclusive, ... more equitable world. 57 years ago today was the historic March on Washington to fight for civil rights. Today, we honor that event by awarding more than $10 million in charitable grants to 20 nonprofits advancing racial equity and social justice reforms in the United States.

Girls Inc. of Huntsville is of the 20 organizations benefiting from the grant.

The money will help fund Operation SMART, a hands-on STEM learning program that will reach more than 700 girls of color here in Huntsville.
