BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Testing availability and scheduling due to the COVID-19 pandemic have adversely affected students and families embarking on the college admissions process. The University of Alabama at Birmingham will not require applicants for spring, summer and fall 2021 to submit ACT or SAT test scores for admissions or scholarship consideration. High school GPA and quality of curriculum will be evaluated as the primary criteria for determining academic preparedness.
