COVID-19 forces three Madison County schools to Transition to 100% remote learning

Madison County School Superintendent Mr. Allen Perkins announced the transition of three schools to remote learning.

MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala. — Madison County School Superintendent Mr. Allen Perkins is announcing the transition of three schools to remote learning EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

The schools impacted are Monrovia Elementary, Monrovia Middle School and Endeavor Elementary School in Madison County. All three locations will temporarily transition to 100% remote learning due to COVID-19. After assessing a number of variables within the schools, the decision was made for student and staff safety to transition to remote learning.

All students will move to remote learning beginning Monday, November 30, through Friday, December 4, 2020.

Remote instruction will be provided through Google Classroom and SchoolsPLP. Teachers will also be available throughout the day (8:30-3:30) to help students with their work via email and Google Meet.

Google Meetings will also be scheduled for students to receive direct instruction and live help.
