Check out your July 14 Primary Runoff Election sample ballot

ALABAMA, USA — Sample ballots for the July 14 Primary Runoff Election are online.

Make sure you are prepared for the polls by viewing your sample ballot for the July 14 Primary Runoff Election!

The election was postponed after the printing of ballots, the sample ballots, and all ballots used on election day. These will still have the original election date of March 31; however, Alabama’s Primary Runoff Election will be held on Tuesday, July 14.

According to Merrill's office, due to the declared states of emergency, if you determine it is impossible or unreasonable to vote at your polling place, you can check the box on the absentee ballot application that is most applicable. If none of the boxes are appropriate, check the box which reads:

“I have a physical illness or infirmity which prevents my attendance at the polls. [ID REQUIRED]”

The deadlines for the Primary Runoff Election are:

  • to register to vote --  Monday, June 29 
  • to submit an absentee ballot application -- Thursday, July 9
  • to return an absentee ballot to the Absentee Election Manager --  close of business Monday, July 13
  • last day to postmark an absentee ballot -- Monday, July 13

If you are eligible to vote pursuant to the Uniformed and Overseas Absentee Voting Act, you will have until Tuesday, July 14 to postmark an absentee ballot.
