HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The confederate monument in Huntsville's Courthouse Square was vandalized overnight.

The monument was splashed with what appears to be red paint.

We've reached out to the Huntsville Police and Madison County Sheriff's Office for comment and if there is any information to release to the public.
