TUESDAY NIGHT: Temperatures ease into the low 70s under partly cloudy skies. A 30% chance of showers and storms possible, but any storms that do form will stay below severe criteria. It will feel muggy out there with some patchy fog possible.
WEDNESDAY: A 40% chance of scattered showers and storms possible throughout the day. Locally heavy rain & gusty winds will be possible with the strongest storm activity. Temperatures will warm into the lower and mid 90s by the afternoon with breezy winds from the southeast.
THURSDAY: Only a 20% chance of an isolated shower and storm. Most of the Tennessee Valley will stay dry with temperatures heating into the mid 90s. But, when factoring in the humidity, it will like feel like closer to 100 degrees by the peak daytime heating hours.
Friday will be another very hot & humid day with dry conditions. By this weekend, a washed out cold front will move closer to the area leading to an unsettled weather pattern through the middle of next week. Scattered showers and storms will be in the forecast starting Saturday with temperatures remain normal and hot in the low and mid 90s.
