Mississippi State team captain and All-SEC Preseason team member Erroll Thompson showed off his skills not only tackling but ball-hawking as well in 2018.
The Florence, Alabama native says he’s excited for the season to start, but one game, in particular, he has his eyes on, the Egg Bowl.
“It is very intense. It is great for the state of Mississippi, and it is great for college football. It is a really fun game to play in,” Thompson said.
Mississippi State defeated Ole Miss 35-3 in last season’s Egg Bowl.
Thompson finished the season second in tackles at 87 and had himself two interceptions making him the only SEC linebacker with that many tackles and multiple picks
