What fireworks are legal in Alabama?


What you can and can’t celebrate with on the 4th of July can be confusing. Here’s a quick look at what’s legal. And of course, if you have any questions, check with you local law enforcement or fire department.

Fireworks like bottle rockets, fire crackers, roman candles, and sparklers are allowed. Some fireworks that are not allowed include: M80’s, cherry bombs, and silver salutes.

Also, ground salute fireworks with more than two grains of explosives, or any that are purchased through the mail, are not allowed.

Anyone younger than 16 must have an adult with them in order to buy fireworks.
