UPDATE: Suspect caught in Limestone County domestic hit-and-run

Investigators say the suspect in a Tuesday afternoon domestic hit-and-run on Jennings Chapel Road that left a one woman in the hospital has been caught.

Investigators are looking for the suspect in a Tuesday afternoon domestic hit-and-run on Jennings Chapel Road that left a one woman in the hospital.

Loyd Leon Heflin, 47, is wanted for Domestic Violence Assault 1st Degree. He was last seen driving east in a blue Dodge minivan on Jennings Chapel Road immediately after the incident on Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m., deputies responded to the mobile home park on Jennings Chapel Road after a caller told dispatchers a man and woman had been in a physical altercation, and that the man had run over the woman with the vehicle and left the scene.

The woman was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
