UPDATE: Morgan County Rescue Squad Chief Danny Kelso is back home following a head-on collision.
He is very limited in his mobility. As shown having to use a wheelchair for about the next 3 months. But that being said, he is very thankful for being able to be home. And yes, he said he was going to monitor everybody on the radio.
Morgan County Rescue Squad Chief Danny Kelso remains hospitalized after a head-on collision Thursday night sent him and four other people to the hospital.
An update on the Rescue Squad’s Facebook page from the chief’s sister says that Kelso had surgery on his leg today and is expected to have surgery on his hip on Monday.
There is no update at this time on the conditionsof the other people involved.

For all of you that may or may not have heard Chief Danny Kelso was involved in a Head-On collision in Morgan County Thursday Night.
He was riding in a Morgan County Sheriff’s SUV when they were hit Head-On by a car.
Chief Kelso was flown by helicopter to Huntsville Hospital. The other deputy was treated at the scene and was being evaluated at a hospital for his injuries.
There were 3 people in the other car. One was flown by helicopter to Huntsville Hospital and the two others were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
