Two killed in a crash involving a train on Moores Mill Road

The road was shut down for most of the day on Sunday

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. - Two people were killed in a crash on Moores Mill Road involving a train. They have been identified as 34-year-old Derek Collier and 26-year old Sarah McCallum.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. The railroad crossing arm was down and the car was traveling at a high speed, and police say they showed no signs of slowing down.
