Two dead, two injured in Limestone Co. three-vehicle wreck

Two people are dead, and two injured after a three-vehicle wreck Saturday morning in Limestone County.

It happened on Highway 53, three miles south of Ardmore at 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 21.

Jaquarius Lamon Smith 25, and his passenger Terrell Marquae Jolly, 30, both of Huntsville, were killed when Smith’s 2007 Buick sedan struck a 2009 Ford ambulance and a 2017 Dodge pickup. Smith and Jolly were not wearing seatbelts and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The ambulance was not in service at the time of the crash; the two occupants were injured and transported to a local area hospital. The driver and occupants of the Dodge pickup were not injured.

ALEA State Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash; updates will be made as they become available.
