Want to take a step back into 1969?
Sunday’s your chance as a time capsule gets cracked open in Madison. The time capsule was buried 50 years ago at Madison Elementary when the city was celebrating it’s 100th anniversary. Madison dignitaries, with the help of a backhoe, unearthed the capsule Tuesday, Oct. 22, exactly 50 years after it was buried.
You can see the capsule and its contents Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Madison Elementary. Items in the capsule include pictures, toys, and a Moon map.
