If you’re a fan of chili, you should know about a chili cook-off happening Thursday evening that will benefit organizations that help local veterans. The 7th annual Chili for Charity will be held at the Athletic Club Alabama in Huntsville tomorrow from 5-8PM. This year, Keller Williams Huntsville will donate the proceeds of event to Forever Young Senior Veterans and Still Serving Veterans. 26 teams will compete for the honor of best chili. Local veterans will also be vying for the top spot.

“Forever Young Senior Veterans has two veterans competing — each with their own chili team,” said Kelsey Zwack, a real estate agent at Keller Williams. “One is a 102-year-old veteran, and theirs will be the 102-year-old Chili, and the other is a WWII POW, and their chili is called POW Chili.”

Tickets are $5 for kids, and $10 for adults. You can pay at the door.
