Suspects wanted in Limestone Co. armed robbery

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office has released security footage that shows the armed robbery.

The three male suspects had their faces covered and were wearing gloves. Two of them carried pistols, and the third had a rifle. The suspects robbed employyes and too between $8,000-$10,000.

The tan Ford Focus they left in was recovered and had been stolen Friday morning.

UPDATE (5:20 p.m.): LCSO says the earlier detainee is no longer a suspect.

Investigators had a vehicle towed that matched the description of the suspect vehicle that had been found on Laughmiller Road unoccupied. That vehicle was stolen.

UPDATE: One suspect has been detained.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect vehicle in an armed robbery.

Deputies say three unidentified men robbed PT Welding & Sales at approximately 2:15 p.m. Friday afternoon. The suspect vehicle, a brown Ford Focus, was last seen northbound on Harris Station going toward Lucas Ferry.

Authorities say one suspect is wearing a black shirt with white stripes. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police.
