It’s been over two weeks now since Aniah Blanchard disappeared, and search teams continue to look for her.
The man arrested in Florida in connection with disappearance is now back in Alabama. Ibraheem Yazeed, 30, suspected of kidnapping the 19-year-old, appeared in a Florida courtroom Friday. That paved the way for authorities to pursue charges in Alabama.

Yazeed is under arrest and charged with first degree kidnapping. He was out on bond for attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree robbery charges on an earlier case in Alabama at the time of Aniah Blanchard’s disappearance.
