School delays and closings for Dec. 11, 2019

Due to the possibility of inclement weather or hazardous road conditions, some schools in the Tennessee Valley are delaying their start times on Wednesday, December 11.

Big Cove Christian Academy – two hour delay

Colbert County Schools – two hour delay

Decatur City Schools – two hour delay

Cullman County Schools – two hour delay

DeKalb County Schools – two hour delay

Florence City Schools – two hour delay

Grace Lutheran – two hour delay

Hartselle City Schools – two hour delay

Huntsville City Schools – two hour delay
The two-hour delay will also apply to all HCS employees, unless otherwise directed by your supervisor. All elementary, middle, and junior high classes will begin at 10:00am. All high school classes will begin at 10:30am. Buses will also run on a two-hour delayed schedule.

Jackson County Schools – two hour delay

Lauderdale County Schools – two hour delay

Lawrence County Schools – two hour delay

Legacy Christian Academy – two hour delay

Limestone County Schools – two hour delay

Madison City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow.

Madison County Schools – two hour delay
Buses will run two hours later than normal. Bus routes and school start times will happen two-hours later than normal.

Mars Hill Bible School – two hour delay

Morgan County Schools – two hour delay

Muscle Shoals City Schools – two hour delay

Russellville City Schools – two hour delay

Scottsboro City Schools- two hour delay

Sheffield City Schools – two hour delay

St. John Paul II Catholic High School – two hour delay.
Classes start at 9:50am. The building will open at 7:00 for early students.

Tuscumbia City Schools – two hour delay
