Locals brought their pets out to pose with Santa for a holiday picture, and it was just about the cutest thing you can think of.
Pet parents brought their dogs to “A New Leash on Life” in Madison to take some free holiday pictures. They turned the back of the store into a full photoshoot and the dogs were getting lots of love from Santa.
“Sprout” partnered for the event and brought holiday snacks for anyone who came by and locals donated to help dogs in the area who still need a home.
You might be able to help. We’re told there’s a high need for people to foster pets during the holiday season.
We spoke with Debbie Dodd, the Director of A New Leash on Life. She says, “There are thousands of pets in the rural Alabama. They don’t have anybody to take care of them. And so, during the holidays when people are home a lot, it’s very nice to open your home. Share your home with a new dog or cat who wouldn’t have a chance to even have a life without that.”
