If you’ve ever driven on Old Highway 431, you’ve encountered the one-lane bridges. Those are about to become a part of Madison County history.
Starting on Monday, Feb. 3, Old Highway 431 will be closed to replace the one-lane bridges. The project is expected to last about 450 days. The closure will stretch from the Cove Park entrance to just North of Cherry Tree Road.
Be prepared for road signs and detours in the area.
