There’s new leadership coming to the Huntsville City School system.

On Tuesday, Carlos Mathews was sworn in as the new District 5 board member. His swearing-in is making history as this is the first time that the Board has two African-American members seated at one time.

Mathews said today that he wants to focus on preventing the use of Juuls and vape pens in school.
