Seminole County, Flordia has adopted a phone app that dispatchers can use to send the nearest CPR trained person to respond to an emergency.
Chris Connor shared his story at the Seminole County Commission meeting to establish the importance of a new app launched.
Pulsepoint alerts people who are CPR trained that someone nearby needs their help. A video shown at the meeting stressed that minutes matter. Connor was saved by two men using the same recreational trail at the precise time he went down. They were there to see help was needed.
In the future, the app would be able let them know even if they were around the block and out of sight.
