There have now been nineteen deaths and over one thousand cases of lung disease in our country due to vaping.
One of those deaths was here in Alabama. Washington is the latest state to issue a temporary ban on flavored vaping products. Vape store owners against the ban said it will send smokers back to cigarettes. On the other side, three school districts across the country are now suing Juul. They are accusing the nation’s largest e-cigarette maker of intentionally marketing its products to teenagers.
The CDC reports about 80 percent of patients with vaping-related lung disease are under 35 years old.
