Mint and menthol e-cigs may contain cancer-causing chemical

A new study finds mint and menthol flavored e-cigarettes products may contain a chemical known to cause cancer.

The chemical pulegone (pull’-gone) has been linked to cancer in the lungs and livers of lab mice exposed to the chemical. Pulegone levels in some e-cigarette products were significantly higher than regular cigarettes.
