A man accused of using “replica” $100 bills at yard sales in Decatur is behind bars.
Decatur PD reports that Jeremy Antonio Chatmon faces four counts of first degree Possession of a Forged Instrument after residents complained of a man giving “replica” $100 bills as payment at yard sales. Victims all described the same man.
An investigator identified the man as Jeremy Antonio Chatmon. He was arrested on June 20 for four warrants, each with a $30,000 bond, and taken to the Morgan County Jail.
