A local veteran who’s walking across the country for a good cause was in Huntsville Tuesday.
Van Booth’s mission is to raise money for “Operation Song,” which offers therapy for veterans, by having them express their feelings through music. He started his walk across the country in California in February.

So far, Booth has walked over 2,500 miles of his 3,000 mile goal. His goal is to finish in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina by New Year’s Eve.
