The season of giving is here and one way you can do that is helping get kids in need this season new sneakers.
Heals, Inc. provides free, school-based primary health care for local children.
This is Mann’s second year to partner with Heals on the drive. Being a huge fan of athletic sneakers himself, he says this is a way for him to combine his shoe passion with giving back to the community.
Mann has posted a video to his firm’s Facebook page to raise awareness about the sneaker drive, which is going on through this Sunday. And for every like or share the video gets, he says he will give a dollar to Heals, Inc — up to $3000. By sharing or liking the video, you’ll also be automatically entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card from Footlocker.
Now through Sunday, brand new athletic sneaker donations can be made at his firm, located on 115 Manning Dr. SW, Suite 201-B Huntsville, AL 35801. The shoes will be donated to kids in need here in the valley. Shoe sizes kindergarten through high school (men’s and women’s sizes) can be donated.
“I think there is more than just the functional aspect of shoes. I remember being a kid and getting new shoes,” said Mann. “It also gives you a little confidence boost. And so me being as into sneakers as I am, this is right up my alley.”
